What do contour lines look like in 3D?

In our topic lesson today, we looked again at contour lines on OS maps.  We began by matching examples of contour lines with cross sections of hills and mountains and then we made our own hills using the contour lines.

Multi skills fun!

We had lots of fun during our Multi skills P.E session with Miss Green. We practised bouncing and catching a small ball and hitting a ball with a hockey stick as well as jumping over hurdles and moving in and out of hoops.

Basketball lesson!

Today, Miss Green taught us how to play basketball! We learnt the basics of how to dribble and how to pass and we even played out first game. Every child performed brilliantly and both Miss Green and I were very impressed at their skills. Well done everyone!
