The children had a brilliant party day today!

They had great fun playing party games in the hall this morning and playing pass the parcel and enjoying party food this afternoon.

This morning was our Christmas party. To begin, we had a great time playing games and dancing in the hall – it made Miss Appleby’s and Mrs Wardle’s ears hurt!

After that we had some food in the classroom and watched Nativity on DVD.

After our fantastic performance this morning we  had a ‘grinch’ treat afternoon. We baked cakes, traced and painted pictures! We even had a little time for some flossing!

This afternoon, we all played a variety of board games in the classroom as an end of term treat.  It was fantastic to see everyone playing together and even some children teaching others how to play games they’d not seen before. Well done!

Well done to Josh for being awarded 200 smileys! Great stuff!!

We really enjoyed our Christmas dinner!

Thank you to everyone who has brought in a Christmas book to read as part of their homework menu. We have enjoyed reading them in between rehearsals. Today, we read ‘Santa Is coming to Grimsby’ and we made our very own Santas. We love them…
