Today we were visited by Mike and Jamie who are paramedics. They told us about how they help people. We looked around their ambulance and they showed us the special equipment they use to help make people better. We listened to the loud sirens and talked about what we should do in an emergency.…
Victorian toys!
We had lots of fun today experiencing Victorian toys.
We asked ourselves these questions:

We then chose our favourite! Great work Year 1!
Partner balancing in PE
This term in PE we have been working on balances and what skills are required for balancing. The children have explored individual, counter tension and counter balance and weight bearing balances and used these to create mini sequences. Here are a few pictures of our weight bearing balances.

Repeated patterns
We have been learning about repeating patterns. Today the children enjoyed continuing a repeated pattern with different equipment.
Meeting Blockzilla!
We have worked so hard in maths this week! We met the Blockzillas who have helped us to compare numbers. First we had to find a number in the classroom that was either greater than, less than or equal to Mrs Robinson’s number and then we worked in pairs to compare our own numbers!

Celebration Assembly
Congratulations to all the children in assembly today. We heard about some fantastic achievements outside school.
P.E collaboration
Year 3 worked so well collaboratively to perfect their mirrored balances with a partner. They produced some fantastic sequences of three balances with smooth transitions from one balance to the next.

Y5/6 Tag Rugby
This morning, we attended a tag rugby festival at Bradley Pitches training centre. We, along with several other schools, completed various training drills before playing a short game. Well done to everyone who took part.
