Year 3’s Mayan Calendar Stones
After our clay Mayan calendar stones dried out, we were able to paint them. We chose between gold, bronze or copper paint to make them look ancient and precious and they turned out beautifully.

Dinostar Visits the Foundation Stage!

Remembrance Day
This week, for Remembrance Day, we have taken part in the two minute silence and made our own poppy.
We discussed the meaning of the poppy and why we wear them. We have reflected on the feelings of soldiers and those closest to them.

Remembrance 11.11.2019
Today, a selection of year 5 and 6 children took their wreaths to Waltham’s cenotaph in order to respect and remember those that fought and lost their lives during the war. All of the children were sensible and represented the school extremely well.
