After reading Yucky Worms! By Vivian French, we made our own wormery. We had great fun and we are enjoying watching them work. 
 

What a fantastic three days! We have had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the year 5 children. They embraced every challenge and were excellent ambassadors for our school.   
 

The children had a very exciting second day! 

After learning about the origins of the Olympic rings this morning, the children competed in their own Olympics this afternoon.  They chose the events themselves and were in five teams: one for each of the World's land continents as is represented in the Olympic rings.

The children have had a fantastic first day! 

It was lovely to celebrate our children’s achievements out of school. Football, basketball, karate and kick boxing were all represented this week. Well done everyone.

In science, this week, we have been learning about the water cycle. We learnt about the different stages and had lots of fun acting out the journey of a water droplet within the water cycle. We couldn’t believe that the water we drink, could have been drunk by a dinosaur!

Our fantastic golfers spent the morning at Oasis Academy Wintringham, competing in a number of activities designed to improve their golf skills. The team were fantastic, finishing first. They now go forward to the county finals in June. Well done to Oscar, Owen, Noah, Jake, Joel, Nevaeh, Clara,…

The children in Foundation have enjoyed learning about minibeasts. We have been reading a range of Eric Carle stories as well as sharing some information books. They can now tell us lots of facts about different minibeasts and have enjoyed writing some riddles, labelling a ladybird and writing…
