What a fantastic three days! We have had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the year 5 children. They embraced every challenge and were excellent ambassadors for our school.
Y5/6 Olympics
After learning about the origins of the Olympic rings this morning, the children competed in their own Olympics this afternoon. They chose the events themselves and were in five teams: one for each of the World's land continents as is represented in the Olympic rings.

Using Maps and Atlases
In Y5/6 we have been learning about climate zones and biomes. We have become very skilled in using a range of maps and atlases. Working together we had to cross-reference information from different maps to identify the biomes in different continents and climate zones.
