Football Stars!
The girls' football team were in action last night and were brilliant! They played five games, winning 4-0, 1-0, 2-0, 3-0 and 3-1. In the final they came up against Wybers Wood in a tough match that finished 0-0. Well done girls, you were deserved joint winners!
Celebration assembly 6/10/22
It was brilliant to hear about all the fantastic things you have been doing. We had lots of football awards, running, Squirrel of the week, karate and kick boxing.

We had lots of fun today experiencing Victorian toys.

Partner balancing in PE
This term in PE we have been working on balances and what skills are required for balancing. The children have explored individual, counter tension and counter balance and weight bearing balances and used these to create mini sequences. Here are a few pictures of our weight bearing balances.

Meeting Blockzilla!
We have worked so hard in maths this week! We met the Blockzillas who have helped us to compare numbers. First we had to find a number in the classroom that was either greater than, less than or equal to Mrs Robinson’s number and then we worked in pairs to compare our own numbers!

P.E collaboration
Year 3 worked so well collaboratively to perfect their mirrored balances with a partner. They produced some fantastic sequences of three balances with smooth transitions from one balance to the next.
Y5/6 Tag Rugby
This morning, we attended a tag rugby festival at Bradley Pitches training centre. We, along with several other schools, completed various training drills before playing a short game. Well done to everyone who took part.
Y5/6 Tealby Visit
As part of our geography topic, we visited Tealby to compare it with our local area. In the run up to our visit, we have been learning to use Ordnance Survey maps and we put this use around Tealby in our pairs. Take a look at the photos from our visit.
