We have made an excellent start to our new topic this week; Seasons and Celebrations! We shared our experiences of bonfire night and talked about the sounds, sights and smells during the celebrations. We learnt a little bit about Guy Fawkes and who he was. We discussed how he is a British historical figure, who lived a long time ago. We enjoyed lots fireworks themed activities including fine motor letter and pattern tracing, chalk firework drawings and fireworks play dough. We have also learnt a song about the seasons and been on a walk around the school grounds to search for signs of Autumn. We have also been busy creating fun recipes in the conker kitchen and working hard on our scissor control with leaves in the tuff spots.
