Christmas Is Coming!
We are having lots of fun in reception getting ready for Christmas. We have been baking Christmas cookies, learning about why Christmas is a special time for Christians, taking part in lots of Christmas craft activities and we especially enjoyed our Polar Express day in our pyjamas.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Let’s Move

We have been very busy in nursery this week. We have started exploring our new topic ‘Let’s Move’ where we began to talk about different types of transport. We made our own vehicles using 2D shapes.

Remembrance Day
We spent time discussing Remembrance Day. We held a minute silence and took part in our own poppy factory.
Room on the Broom
The children enjoyed a fun filled Room on the Broom activity week. We acted out the story in our role play area, explored rhyming words and loved finding the spooky objects in the slime.
We 8 yummy spiders!
We have all had lots of fun this week learning about spiders. We learnt lots of facts and went on a spider hunt. The children were excited to make their own spider biscuits, showing good maths skills counting all the legs.
Forest School Fun.
We had lots of fun at exploring Forest School. We also listened carefully to the sounds we could hear around us.
