Reception Letters and Sounds
We have enjoyed learning our sounds using the stories. We listened to ‘Pirate Pete’ on our pirate ship and had fun popping the bubbles outside.
Making Friends
Our Nursery children have been building relationships with each other. It is lovely to see them playing so nicely together showing care and collaboration.
P.E in the Big Hall
In reception we have been working on following instructions in P.E. We enjoyed playing games together with our new friends. We are improving at removing our shoes and socks and putting them back on again all by ourselves. We also practised our ball skills and using the hall space safely.

Our First week at Nursery

Happy Half Term
We have had a very busy half term learning all about minibeasts. We did lots of exciting activities and learnt lots of amazing facts.
Hello Caterpillars
We have had a very special delivery this week, we now have ten caterpillars in our class. We have named them all and have learnt all about the life cycle of a butterfly. We are very excited to watch them grow and change.
Busy Bees
We were very busy in nursery last week. At forest school we went on a sound hunt. We also learnt lots of interesting facts about bees, dressed like bees and tasted honey with our snack. Take a look at the fun we had.
Magnificent Minibeasts
We had a great time at Forest School this week. We went on a minibeast hunt and found lots minibeasts.
Welcome Back
We have enjoyed having all the children back at school and welcoming our new starters. Jackson Mrs Augusta’s puppy also enjoyed coming for a play.
Making and creating in FS1
We have been busy this week making and creating. We have made our own tie dye T-shirt’s, musical instruments and also had a go at African drumming with Mrs Carrington.
