The Year 5/6 boys' football team were in action last night at Oasis Academy Wintringham. They started the tournament well, beating Stallingborough 2-0, with goals from Nathan and Oscar. They continued their winning ways with a 2-0 victory against Elliston, with Oscar and Nathan getting on the score sheet again. The third match saw a close battle with Healing, with the game finishing 1-1, with a goal from Nathan. Game four ended 0-0 with Pilgrim, but the boys got back to winning ways in their final game of the group with a 1-0 win against Weelsby, with another goal from Nathan. This saw them top the group.

In a hard fought, action packed final, the boys finshed two goals down, with an excellent penalty save from Charlie between the two goals. The team gave of their all and we are very proud of them.

As the two top teams go through to the next round, the boys will have an opportunity to travel to Hull later in the term to play teams from the region.

Well done Charlie, Lucas, Jake, Isaiah, Corey, Oscar, Noah, Joel and Nathan.
