We really enjoyed listening to the story and answering questions about it.

We have had another busy week in nursery. We have been practising writing our names, exploring numbers and lots of other activities.
Class 3CO The Mayans
In Class 3CO, we have made a fantastic start to our Topic The Mayans. We have done lots of work researching who they were and when in time the fit on the timeline. We have also made a start on making our very own Mayan masks. We can’t wait to see what they turn out…
Our English this week!
We have enjoyed lots of English activities so far this week. Our comprehension this week was to complete a story board and tell the story orally to a partner. Mrs Robinson was so impressed with how we used our imaginations and thought our stories were fantastic!

Year 5 Homework
Well done Olivia for your homework of a model of our solar system.

Over the summer, we were able to have built a multi use games area. This is a fantastic addition to our sports facilities. The children are enjoying using it at playtimes and during their PE lessons.
P.E in Year 1!
This half term we are looking at 'Locomotion' in P.E. We have been finding different ways of moving and Miss James has been impressed with how creative we have been!
Storytime Phonics
We are enjoying our phonic lessons. This week we have learnt the sounds p, I, n and m. We have learnt to recognise and write the sounds through lots of different games.
Music Monday in Key Stage One!
Monday is a very exciting day in Year 1 and 2 as Mr Egerton comes in to do music with us.
This week we started by tapping different body parts to a beat and then we learnt some new rhymes.

Friday in Year 1!
Today in Year 1, we have been writing sentences about 'My Friend Harry'. We tried hard to remember our capital letters, full stops and finger spaces, as well as challenging ourselves to use adjectives!
