The Year 6 girls' football team were at Oasis Wintringham for the Ramsdens 6-a-side football tournament. The girls had a tough first match, losing 1-0 to Wybers Wood. In their second game they beat Laceby Stanford 5-0, with a hat trick from Bella and two goals from Jasmine. Game 3 finished 0-0, against Old Clee. The final game saw the girls against Lisle Marsden. In a tough match they were just edged out, losing 3-2, with goals from Bella and Georgia.
The girls were fantastic throughout. It was a cold evening, on a very large pitch, but the girls kept on going and showed real resilience. Well done to Bella, Georgia, Juan, Mei, Amelia, Emily, Lizzie, Jasmine and Anna. You were all a real credit to the school.
