To begin our topic ‘time travellers’ we looked at and compared old and new toys.
We had to think about what materials they were made from, how they are played with and then we had to order some pictures of toys from oldest to newest.
After that we got to play with some toys from the past. It was fun trying to get the marbles through the holes, using the slate boards to write on, and seeing the clowns dance. The toys we liked best were the jacks and the tricky cup and ball.
