In their first tournament together, the boys did brilliantly. They played their first game against St. Mary’s, winning 6-0. Goals came from Charlie, with his first hat trick of the tournament, Bartek (2) and Cameron (1). The second game saw the team beat Scartho Juniors 10-1. Charlie went one better than the first game, scoring four goals! Cameron and Bartek scored two a piece and Zack and Ethan also got on the score sheet. The third game saw a 6-0 victory against Signhills B, with four goals from Charlie and two from Bartek! The fourth game was much tougher, but the boys did really well, beating Signhills A 2-1, with goals from Zack and Cameron. The final game of the tournament was a real battle. The boys went behind for the first time in the tournament, but managed to pull a goal back, scored by Bartek, to finish 1-1.
The whole tournament was a real team effort. The boys played brilliantly, passing well and encouraging one another throughout. Well done Zack, Ethan, Lucas, Ryan, Cameron, Charlie, Bartek and Oliver.
