The Year 5/6 boys’ football team were in action last night at St. James’. With only seven players the boys did really well, playing six games in total, five of them back to back! They began slowly, losing 1-0 to Wybers and then 2-0 to Lisle. In a very close game, the boys drew 0-0 with New Waltham in their third match. The fourth saw them play Signhills, losing 2-0. They finished strongly, drawing 0-0 with Thrunscoe, the eventual winners of the tournament and beating Leas 1-0, with a great goal from Romain with the final kick of the game.

Well done to Freddie, Romain, Noah, Ethan, Josh, Kieran and Obie. There were some very strong performances throughout the tournament and they represented the school well.
