This week, we have introduced our new topic Pharaohs. We began using the atlases to find out where Egypt is and what it is like. We discovered why the Nile is so important to Egypt and researched different aspects of ancient Egypt. In literacy, we are writing a first person recount as Howard Carter finding Tutankhamun’s tomb, so have watched videos to help us imagine what it would be like. We even got to inside a tomb when we visited Cloverfields and used their immersive learning space.
