This afternoon we took part in our annual Winter Olympics. We played to score points for our house teams.
The first event for Y6 was indoor curling in the hall.
Next up was the (not-so-icey) hockey dribble. We competed in relay teams.
Our third event was the (yet-to-be-included in the official Winter Olympics) dress the snowman relay. Miss Appleby and Mrs Lofts also competed – it was a draw!
Finally, everyone’s favourite event (not least the teachers, as they stand and watch the children try to work out which is their left and right feet) when we take on the challenge of the paired dry skiing event. Miss Appleby and Mrs Lofts demonstrated first and of course – were experts!
