For our PE this term, we have been studying interpretive dance. This is a dance that tells a story. We practised by listening to music from films and predicting the type of movements we would need to do to move to the music appropriately.
For our dance, we chose to tell a dance story to Aha’s song ‘Take on Me’. We needed to decide on our story and create a story board.
After we had our story boards, we needed to practise what we were doing. After several weeks practise, we performed to the rest of the class. Take a look at some of the photos.
