We have continued with our art work and have been looking closely at maps. We used a view finder to focus in on an interesting part of the map that contained many of the features we had been studying earlier in the term.
Next, we copied the details to create tiles with sections of the maps in our sketch books.
After that, we used tracing paper to trace our tiles and then went over the details on the reverse of the tracing paper. It was tricky and required a lot of concentration.
Our tracing paper tiles are now ready for the next stage of our art work.
