Today the class have been to the year 4 basketball festival at Clee Fields. The class joined in with three drills looking at techniques needed to play the game which included passing, defending and shooting. The class worked hard to master the drills and put in lots of effort. After the drills, it was time for some games. The children were split up into teams and they played mini games against each other. Again the class worked hard and showed how well they could work as a team. During the session, the coaches were looking out for children that worked as a team and shown talent for the game and at the end they were presented with a medal. Big congratulations to the four from the class that received this recognition and well done to all for the hard work and excellent behaviour shown during the session.
