The Year 5/6 boys' football team were in action at Bradley Development Centre last week. They began their tournament with a 1-1 draw against Scartho Juniors, with a fantastic goal from Braydon. Game 2 saw them beat Signhills A with Braydon netting once again. Game 3, against Signhills B finished 1-1, with Braydon continuing his scoring run. The boys hit the post several times and were unlucky to only draw. Game 4 was against New Waltham B. Springfield played some great football, winning the match 2-0, with goals from Braydon and Toby. Game 5 saw them continuing their winning run, beating Waltham Leas 2-1 with goals from Dylan and Oscar. The final game saw them beat New Waltham A 2-0, with two goals from Braydon, finishing the tournament in style.
Well done Braydon, Toby, George, Harrison, Oscar, Dylan, Joel and William. Over the tournament the boys played some fantastic football and were very supportive of one another. They deservedly won the tournament! Well done boys!
