Welcome A very warm welcome to all of our parents. We hope that you’ve been able to have some family time over the holidays and we look forward to working with you as the new term begins. Your children have made a fantastic start to the new year. They are all looking extremely smart and […]
This term pupils in year 3 are learning about natural disasters. As a project hook Garry Goddard from Lincs2Nepal spent the morning with us. Garry told us all about the charity work carried out by Lincs2Nepal during the dreadful Gorkha earthquake in 2015, this work is still ongoing to this day. The morning was very […]
The children have had a wonderful day today to kickstart our night time topics. Activities have included hunting for nocturnal animals with torches in the dark room, designing pyjamas, discussing our dreams, sharing bedtime stories, making dream catchers, animal puzzles and enjoying hot chocolate, biscuits and a bedtime story altogether! We are excited to find […]
Children in years 3 and 4 had a fantastic day at Cleethorpes. The main purpose of our visit was to visit Jungle Zoo to deepen our understanding of the Rainforest and the many animals that live within it. All teachers were very impressed with the children’s knowledge of the Rainforest when asked by our speaker, […]
Smiles all round at the Central Hall tonight! Year 3 and 4 pupils introduced a play with songs from the KS2 singing festival. They sang beautifully with confidence and choir presence. Myself, Mrs Capes and Mrs. Bootyman were very proud to be involved. Thank you for supporting us and giving up your Friday evening.
Day 4 and we’ve had another fantastic day with the children challenging themselves, working together and lots of laughter. After breakfast the day started with abseiling with most of the group going twice. Once again it was Sam to […]

It looks like the year 6 pupils are having a fab time: archery, orienteering, rafting and high ropes to name a few of the few activities. Hope these photos put a smile on your face as I’m sure you’re missing them dearly! Two more sleeps…
Our first activity on day 2 was Survivor Training and it was a case of Practicality vs Muscle as the girls battled it out against the boys to see who could make the best tracking signs and build the best shelter. Then later in the day it was […]

It really brought to life our previous topic, Grimsby’s Fishing Heritage through song and dance brilliantly. Initially the band came to school for a private workshop with each class and we have been practising regularly. A […]
